Take a peek inside Senator Imee Marcos' fantastic workplace

IT’S a super rare design treat this weekend as Senator Imee Marcos comes out with a fabulous new vlog entry on her official YouTube channel.

On Friday, July 1, Imee gives a tour of her amazing Senate office, which she personally designed herself – from the cool photo memorabilia hanging on her walls to the eclectic furniture that showcases the rich culture of Ilocos Norte mixed with modern fixtures and lighting, to an ingenious usage of space that allows her staff to seamlessly work together in a conducive and relaxed environment.

“The office was so boring and dark when we first got there three years ago,” says Imee. “It needed a woman’s touch to brighten it up. I wanted to create a space that is very conducive for a creative flow of innovative ideas. The workload that we do is quite heavy so we really have to spruce up the office to balance everything out. I’m quite proud with what we’ve done with the space and I’m happy to share it with my viewers.”

On July 2, Imee and her team also whipped up a special vlog for the upcoming 93rd birthday of her mom, former Philippine First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos.
