Pasay City Treasurer's Office to accept real property tax payments on June 30

Despite the declaration of June 30 as a non-working holiday in Pasay, the City Treasurer’s Office will operate to accept the real property tax payments from residents who want to avail of the city government’s tax amnesty, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said Wednesday.

Rubiano said the tax payers were given a deadline to get the tax amnesty offered by the city government until June 30.

She said the city government announced on June 13 the extension of the deadline for the payment of real property taxes to give taxpayers ample time to settle their obligations.

The mayor said the city government had offered tax amnesty twice to all delinquent taxpayers -- first in December 2021 and second on June 13 up to 30.

Rubiano said those who will fail to pay their real property taxes will be included in the public auction to be conducted by the city government in November.

She said only the Treasurer’s Office will continue to give services to the public due to the declaration of special non-working holiday in the city.
