MegaSportsWorld reopens at the Newport Garden Wing

Celebrating 10 years of winning partnerships with Resorts World Manila (RWM), MegaSportsWorld (MSW) returns to operations at the G/F gaming area of the Newport Garden Wing with a bigger space to accommodate more sports betting enthusiasts. MSW is the first and longest-running government accredited and licensed sportsbook in the country for all major sports with over hundreds of leagues, from the most popular – basketball and tennis, to lesser-known sports like cricket and rugby.

RWM COO Hakan Dagtas and MSW Managing Director Jeff Mann (center) lead the grand reopening of MSW in the Newport City complex, joining them are MSW Operations Manager Rey Roallos (second from left), RWM Senior VP for Casino Operations Sandy Amida (2nd from right), and MSW ambassadors.

Hakan Dagtas, RWM Chief Operating Officer, shares his excitement about the much awaited return of MSW to the Newport Garden Wing, “We have been anticipating MSW’s return to the Newport Garden Wing. We are grateful for MSW’s immense trust in our integrated resort and look forward to further strengthening our decade-long partnership.”

The country’s pioneering integrated resort expanded its gaming capacity with the opening of the Newport Grand Wing in 2019. The Newport Garden Wing and the Newport Grand Wing’s combined expansive area provides patrons with world-class gaming thrills, endless entertainment options, diverse selection of dining choices, and the highest hotel room key count within a single property.

The recent developments within the Newport City complex is a welcome change for MSW. According to Jeff Mann, MSW Managing Director, “This is our longest partnership we've had with any organization in the Philippines, it's been part of our growth. We're number 1 in the Philippines and that’s partly due to our long relationship and flagship outlets within the property. We’ve redesigned our area to keep up with the property’s new developments. As a flagship outlet, all of our newest innovations will be arriving here first before anywhere else."
