Elected officials of Binangonan, Rizal take oath

Elected officials of Binangonan, Rizal took their oath during a ceremony attended by heads of agencies and offices in the town Wednesday afternoon, June 29.

Mayor Cesar Ynares led the local officials in the swearing-in ceremony at the Casimiro Ynares Sr. Auditorium fronting the municipal hall.

Ynares, who is on his last term of office, thanked the people of Binangonan for their support as he vowed to continue his various programs that are centered on honest, clean and effective governance which he has been doing for the past 15 years of being the town’s chief executive.

The re-elected mayor, who ran unopposed during the May 9 election, was sworn in by Binangonan Executive Judge Anna Francesca Limbo in front of his wife, Dr. Rose Martha Callanta Ynares; their son, Municipal Administrator Russel Ynares; and his wife, Jacqueline; and kids Randel, Ryley and Rome; two of their daughters Dr. Clarissa Ynares del Rosario and her husband Louie, and Dr. Criselda Ynares Punzalan.

The mayor also appealed to his constituents to continue supporting his administration.

Several members of the judiciary, police, and officials of the Department of Education in Binangonan attended the oath-taking event.

Outgoing Rizal Gov. Rebecca Ynares showed up during the early part of the activity to bid farewell to the local officials and thank the people of Binangonan for supporting her programs.

Also sworn in were the members of the town’s Sangguniang Bayan.
