I have come a long way in public service since I started out as a Sangguniang Kabataan chairman)," Hernandez wrote in a Facebook post.

And with this new chance to continue serving our beloved province, you can rest assured that I will do even better in serving you with all my heart and honesty)."

Aside from the governor, his wife, reelected Laguna 2nd District Rep. Ruth Mariano-Hernandez, and reelected Vice Governor Karen Agapay also took their oaths of office at the ceremony.
