TANZA, Cavite – Reelected Gov. Jonvic Remulla took his oath of office at the Sta. Cruz Convent Museum on Monday, June 27.
Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. administered Remulla's oath.
In a Facebook post, Revilla congratulated Remulla and said that cooperation allowed them to overcome challenges in Cavite over the past years.
The senator's son, Jolo Revilla, is the incumbent vice governor of Cavite. On June 25, the younger Revilla took oath before his father in Cavite City as the province's 1st District representative.
At the ceremony in Tanza, incoming Cavite Vice Governor Athena Tolentino also took her oath before her uncle, Sen. Francis Tolentino.
