The newest branch of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) opened in Rodriguez, Rizal to cater to the needs of motorists in the municipality and nearby towns in the province.
The LTO Extension Office, located in Bona Building, Don Mariano Avenue, Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal aims to assist the public, particularly residents of Rodriguez and San Mateo, about their concerns with the agency.
LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante, incoming Rodriguez Municipal Mayor Ronnie Evangelista, and incoming Antipolo City Mayor Casimiro "Junjun" Ynares III, led the opening rites.
The office of Rizal Governor Rebecca Ynares said the opening of the latest LTO office in Rodriguez will benefit Rizal residents in seeking the services of the agency.
Former Rizal Governor Casimiro "Ito" Ynares Jr., while he was Presidential Adviser for Southern Tagalog, had requested President Duterte to bring the LTO in Rodriguez.
Another LTO extension office will also be inaugurated in San Mateo soon.
An LTO Driver’s Renewal Center recently opened at the 2nd floor of Robinsons Place Antipolo in Antipolo City.
Ynares thanked President Duterte for the swift response to the provincial government’s request in putting up another LTO branch in the town.
