PCGH marks 45th year; offers free medical and surgical services

Pasay City's lone public hospital, the Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH), will celebrate its 45th year on Saturday, June 25, by offering free medical and surgical services to city residents.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the PCGH will be offering mass developmental screening for children aged 0 to 8 years old suffering from slow development, operation tuli (circumcision) for male children aged 11 years old and above, cervical cancer screening for women aged 18 to 60 years old, hypertension and diabetes screening, including counselling to 40 years old and above, X-ray and ECG (electrocardiogram) test and mass blood donation.

Rubiano urged residents to register for the services they want to avail of.

For the mass developmental screening, it will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. City residents may register through 0993-379-0737 and 0976-013-132203. For the operation tuli (circumcision), those interested can register at htps//forms.gle/dx7voS4EVHnLYzFp6. The circumcision will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The hospital will accept 50 patients for cervical cancer screening from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Those interested may register through telephone number 0977-658-4088. Hypertension and diabetes screening, including counselling, will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register by calling or texting telephone number 0956-273-4489.

The mayor said the X-ray and ECG services will be offered at the hospital's ground floor on a first come, first served basis for 50 residents from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Interested residents may call 0933-197-8700 to register.

The mayor said the mass blood donation will be conducted at the hospital's conference room located on the 3rd floor from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rubiano called on city residents to avail of the free medical and surgical services that the PCGH is offering.
