Here’s another reason to stay indoors and watch your favorite films at home

Sony Philippines’ official announcement of the arrival of the new BRAVIA X90K during the exclusive press conference and movie viewing held recently at Oak Harbor Residences by DMCI Homes, is a welcome surprise to those who want the best quality cinematic experience in the comfort of their homes.
The BRAVIA X90K series has a Full Array LED that delivers up to 4K Ultra HD-resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR) and BRAVIA CORE, a pre-loaded movie service exclusive to 2022 BRAVIA XR models. It is also powered by the Cognitive Processor XR, which gives viewers a real-life depth and contrast and vivid colors compared to other ordinary LEDs currently available. This next-gen processor cross-analyzes images and sound from the movies to deliver a more lifelike TV viewing experience that is better than conventional AI technology. Simply put, the movies feel so real that one can almost feel it.

Sony Philippines’ Product Marketing executive Clarence Porteza explains that an immersive viewing experience requires a balance of both visual and sound quality.
He adds that the Cognitive Processor XR and the XR Triluminos Pro gives the BraviaX90K access to over a billion colors and reproduce each one with the subtle differences seen in the real world. Thus, the scenes look more real with extra depth and details as the XR Contrast adjusts brightness for higher peaks in glare and deeper blacks in shadow. XR Clarity meanwhile accesses a vast amount of data then intelligently recreates lost textures and detail for real world pictures. And if you love sports or any movies that feature fast-moving objects, it gets a whole lot better with the intelligent motion processing of XR Motion.
“When comparing the BRAVIA X90K with other commercially available televisions in the same class, audiences are sure to experience a difference,” says Forteza.
This whole experience would not be complete, of course, without the most realistic and immersive sounds. Which is why with Sony’s Cognitive Processor, Acoustic Multi-Audio technology, and special actuators, BRAVIA XR TVs make the sound match precisely with what’s on the screen. The XR Surround feature also virtually creates surround sound from the sides and vertically using just the TV speakers, so viewers can experience 3D audio without the need for in-ceiling or up-firing speakers.
And if that’s not enough, Sony’s top-of-the-line soundbar—such as the HT-A7000—is an option that will really impress even most audiophiles. HT-A7000 features X-Balanced speaker units that deliver a more punchy bass, less distortion, and greater vocal clarity.
For viewers who want full 360° spatial sound mapping, an optional subwoofer (SA-SW3 / SA-SW5) and rear speakers (SA-RS3S) can be paired. With just the subwoofer and rear speakers added, the HT-A7000 creates multiple phantom speakers around the room for total immersion.

A wide selection of titles is waiting for audiences and with BRAVIA CORE Calibrated mode, the visual experience gets better as the movies will be automatically adjusted to the optimal picture settings. BRAVIA X90K is available in 55”, 65”, and 75” sizes with prices starting at P66,699; while the HT-A7000 is priced at P82,499. Both models are available in all Sony Authorized Dealers nationwide.
