Robredo's spokesman Barry Gutierrez said they had sent an invitation to the incoming vice president to attend their "last general assembly" on June 27.

“Sa aking pagkakaalam nag-extend ng imbitasyon kay VP-elect Sara na mag-attend kung kanyang gugustuhin (As far as I know we’ve extended an invitation to VP-elect Sara to attend if she wishes to),” he said during Robredo’s radio show on Sunday, June 19.

Robredo personally met the transition team of her successor during their visit to the Office of the Vice President (OVP) on June 3.

The outgoing Vice President gave Duterte's team a tour of the QCRH, where she held office over the past six years.

Gutierrez reiterated the readiness of the OVP team to ensure a "smooth" transition to the new administration.

“Maayos naman ang koordinasyon, maayos naman ang pag-uusap, smooth ang ating nagiging transition. Handang handa na sa pagpapalit ng pamumuno sa noon ng June 30 (The coordination is going well, the talks are going well, our transition is smooth. We are very ready for the change of leadership at noon of June 30),” he said

Duterte is pushing for the establishment of a permanent residence for OVP as her "singular" legacy as the next vice president.

Her predecessors have held offices in temporary locations, among which were the Coconut Palace, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), and the Philippine National Bank (PNB) Building in Manila.

Once she assumed office, Duterte said her team would initially use the QCRH, but they wanted to move to a bigger office.
