Kapuso girl group XOXO is among music acts affected by the pandemic.
But its members, Riel Lomadilla, Dani Ozaraga, Mel Caluag, and Lyra Micolob, are back on track and ready to showcase their talent.
They flaunted a different side to their vocal prowess via their latest single under GMA Music, “My Miracle.”
According to them, the track is about finding hope through inspiration, amid the hardships encountered along the way.
During a recent press conference, the female artists promised to offer something new to their fans.
Dani said that they're actually trying their best to catch up with changing music trends.
"Alam mo yung P-Pop community is really rising here in the Philippines kaya gusto rin namin may ma-i-ambag rin, hopefully, soon," she said.
Lyra added how they're in the business to really make a mark as performers.
She even pointed out how their group was formed out of their respective passion for singing.
Recall that the ladies were former "The Clash" contestants.

Dani vowed to showcase their "diversity."
"As you can see iba-iba kami ng looks, ng personality, tsaka ng timbre ng boses - which is, I think, yun yung pinagka-iba namin sa ibang P-Pop groups," she said.
"Our goal for now is mag-produce pa ng maraming original songs na sa amin po talaga."
Riel pointed out how each of them brings something "new" and "interesting" to the mix.
"But when we are together harmonious yung mix."
Lyra even recalled their respective monikers during their "The Clash" days - she as the Davaoeña with the “Tough Girl” vibe; Mel, the “Sweet Girl” from Bulacan; Dani, the “Fierce and Sexy” Cebuana; and Riel, “The Diva” who hails from Cagayan de Oro.
Asked about the challenges the group encountered so far, the members revealed it's mainly about juggling their schedules.
Note that some of them are also trying their hands at acting.
But Dani sees no problem with it.
They could only be happy for each other's achievements.
"Kasi sabay kaming nangarap dito at alam namin yung pinagdaraanan namin. Kaya happy kami sa tuwing nabibigyan ng break yung mga kasama ko sa XOXO."
Riel said they make sure to work out their issues and compromise.
"At the end of the day, kahit may work yung iba, we're still a girl group. Our loyalty and our priority din naman is with the girl group," she related. "Kahit may mga shows, sa acting. We try to compromise and we try to adjust pa rin naman."
And they treat each other as sisters.
In fact, whenever they would have a minor disagreement, it wouldn't last long.
Lyra believes it all boils down to them starting out as friends.
They reiterated that there's no rivalry between them.
