GMA issues statement on ruckus involving Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez

GMA, the home network of Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez, addressed ongoing hubbub concerning both stars.

In a statement, the network related how they are "saddened" by the "turn of events," going on to express that it is their "prayer" that the couple "will be able to resolve their issues at the soonest possible time."

The statement in full:

“We are saddened by the recent turn of events involving GMA artists Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez.

"It is our prayer that they will be able to resolve their issues at the soonest possible time and in the most amicable manner.

"We also request their fans, supporters, and the public to refrain from spreading various speculations about them.”

Note the statement came after Carla finally broke her silence on the matter recently via social media.

Tom is yet to issue a statement.

Talk about the two having gone their separate ways has been going on for some time.

Prior, Tom created noise hinting about a "gag order" preventing him from speaking about the whole issue.
