6-hour water interruption in parts of Rizal Province, Marikina City between June 14 and June 17


Manila Water customers in some parts of Binangonan, Antipolo City, Angono, San Mateo, and Rodriguez in Rizal Province, and Marikina City have no water for up to six hours between June June 14 and June 17.

In its service advisory, Manila Water announced that the six-hour water interruption in some parts of Binangonan was from 10 p.m. on June 14 until 4 a.m. on June 15, Wednesday, due to the scheduled line maintenance works on Manila East Road.

Areas affected by the water service cut were portions of Barangay Tagpos and Barangay Tayuman in Binangonan.

In Antipolo City, customers at ABA Homes in Barangay Dalig also experienced water service interruption at 10 p.m. on June 14 until 4 a.m. on June 15.

In Angono, customers of Manila Water at Sitio Mata in Mahabang Parang will have no water on Wednesday at 10 p.m. on June 15 up to 4 a.m. on June 16, Thursday, due to the interconnection works in the area.

On June 16, Manila Water customers in portions of Marikina City and San Mateo in Rizal will experience water service interruption starting 10 p.m. until the following day, Friday.

Affected areas in Marikina City are parts of Barangay Sto. Nino (Sampaguita, Lower Magnolia, Lower Daffodils, Middle Waling-Waling, Middle Rose, Cadena de Amor, Sto. Nino Parish Church, Talipapa infr front of Barangay Sto. Nino, Cattleya, Ilang-Ilang, Daisy, Fleurdeliz, Camia, Sunflower, Rocky Volley, Back Chapel cluster, access road to Silangan, Everlasting, Jasmine, Aster, Upper Daffodils, Cardinal, Carnation, Upper and Lower Lotus, Modesta (Sampaguita-main road), Riverside (Mangga, Chico, Avocado, Caimito, Duhat) and Horshoe.

Parts of Brgy. Fortune, Marikina (Victory Hills, Victory Avenue & Champaca St.) will also be affected by the water service shutoff.

In San Mateo, the areas with no water are parts of Parts of Brgy. Gulod Malaya (Sala Site, Feville, Marquez Compound, Upper Magnolia, Upper Daffodils, Upper Waling- waling, Upper Rose, Anturium, Rubia, Chrysanthemum, Sto. Nino Brgy Hall, Fire station, Sto Nino Elementary School, Modesta Reservoir, Olopsville Phase 2 Bulk, Olops 1 ( St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. John), Valleyview cluster, Marvihills (St. Andrew, St. Francis, St. Benedict, St. Anthony, St. Matthew (main road), St. Luke portion - brgy hall), Armel 1, Marvi Hills (Ph1: St. Thomas, St. Nicholas, St. Patrick, San Lorenzo Ruiz, St. Jude, St. Peter, Ph2: St. Joseph, St. John, St. Paul, St. Anne, St. Claire, St. Agnes), Laylayan Compound cluster, Pulang Lupa cluster, Vista Hermosa (Chrysanthemum, Cattleya, Jasmin, Ilang-ilang, Dahlia, Rosal, Gumamela, Santan, Camia, Dama de Noche, Champaca), Lower Bancom (Libra, Leo, Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Saggitarius, Gemini), and Casablanca Subdivision.

Also affected are parts of Brgy. Ampid 1 (Upper Bancom, Upper and Lower Aquarius, Virgo, Capricorn), Loobansite cluster, Greenland Newtown Bulk, MonCarlo Village, Felicidad 2 Village, Holy Family cluster, Greenfield Compound, St. Joseph Montessori School, all in San Mateo.

Likewise, parts of Brgy. Silangan (Buntong Palay Purok 1 (Kawayan St.), shortcut road from Sto. Nino to Silangan, and parts of Brgy. Guitnang Bayan 1 (Divine Mercy) will also be affected.

In Rodriguez, Rizal, beginning 10 p.m. on June 16 until 4 a.m. on June 17, parts of Barangay San Jose (Suburban Phase 1A, 1L1, 1L2, 1F and 1LL) and parts of Barangay San Isidro (Bautista Creekside Phase 1 and Phase 2) will also experience water service disruption.

Parts of Barangays Calumpang, Layunan, and Libid, all in Binangonan, will also be waterless on June 16 at 10 p.m. until June 17 at 4 a.m.
