A total of 16 employees of PNPGH from Camp Crame headed by chief nurse Police Colonel Geraldine L. Adanglao participated in the bloodletting activity, said in a statement released by PRC.

They came in response to PRC's call for donors on World Blood Donor Day being celebrated on the same day.

“Blood donation extends lives. It saves lives,” said Adanglao.

She also encouraged everyone who has not yet experienced donating blood to be a part of this program and emphasized that this is also beneficial to the physical health of the donor.

Every donor is required to be tested for diseases before donating, she added. (Luisa Cabato)
