Diocese seeks help for ailing priest

The Diocese of Virac is appealing for financial help for one of its priests.

In a Facebook post, the diocese identified the priest as Fr. Phillip Henry Morales who is currently admitted in a hospital in Quezon City.

"Rev. Fr. Phillip Henry Morales, our Diocesan Director on Youth Apostolate of the Diocese of Virac is presently admitted at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City," read the post.

"He underwent coronary angiogram and unfortunately angioplasty is not doable due to the extent of blocked arteries. He was advised coronary artery bypass surgery (Heart bypass) as soon as possible," the diocese said.

"He needs our prayers and a little financial assistance. Please save a life," it further read.
