“I came here in the Philippines when I was young and traveled, and I’ve got this opportunity to be here for this event,” he said during the launch.

Now, Kim Soo-hyun is in the country again for a fan meet organized by a local clothing brand.

Kim Soo-hyun arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on June 8. During a press conference on June 9, the star of the dramas “My Love from the Star” and “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” said he was happy to see fans at the airport.

“From the airport, I could see the warm greetings from my fans and I was very happy to see them,” the 34-year-old actor said.

On June 10, Kim Soo-hyun will hold his “One Extraordinary Day with Kim Soo-hyun” fan meeting at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Months after visiting Manila, Kim Soo-hyun enlisted in the military in October 2017 that put his career on hold. He was discharged from the military in July 2019.

After his discharge, he made special appearances on the dramas “Hotel del Luna” and “Crash Landing on You” before starring in “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” in 2020.

His other acting credits include “Moon Embracing the Sun,” "Dream High," "The Producers," “Secretly, Greatly,” “Real,” and “The Thieves.”
