MB Daily News Update: BBM sees continued friendship between PH, China


President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos is looking forward to the continued friendship between the Philippines and China. He made this statement during an event organized by the  Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) in celebration of the 124th Philippine Independence Day and the 21st Filipino-Chinese Friendship Day.

Waning vaccine immunity and the entry of Covid-19 subvariants are fueling the uptick in cases in Metro Manila, but the Department of Health (DOH) said the increase in the number of incidences was “contained”.

The situation in Bulusan Volcano could be stabilizing after the Philippine Institute on Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded only low level of unrest.
