MB Daily News Update: BBM did not spend personal money for campaign
President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. did not have to dig dip into his pockets to win the May 9 elections as disclosed by his campaign team, which also beat the deadline for the filing of the required Statement on Contributions and Expenses (SOCE) with the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
The Comelec also reported that the average overall accuracy rate of the recently concluded polls was at 99.95 percent, based on its random manual audit of the votes.
After the massive increase in fuel, Meralco said it might impose “upward adjustment in power generation charges this June”.
Philippine General Hospital (PGH) authorities have reported that they have stopped conducting elective procedures after occupancy at its emergency section exceeded capacity. But they were quick to add that the congestion was not caused by an overwhelming number of Covid-19 patients.
