Container van overturns, causes traffic in Manila

A container van overturned along Finance Road in Manila and caused traffic congestion early Wednesday, June 8.

In a report from DZBB, the Manila Traffic And Parking Bureau (MTBP) said the vehicular accident happened at around 5:30 a.m. on Finance Road near the National Museum of Fine Arts.

As of 8:30 a.m., the container van has not been removed from the road. The driver of the van reportedly fled.

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is already on site to lift the container.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.
