Netflix announces season 2 of Korean zombie series ‘All of Us Are Dead’


Netflix announced on June 7 that the hit Korean zombie series “All of Us Are Dead” will be coming back for a second season.

The first season of “All of Us Are Dead” focused on the group of students at Hyosan High School who tried to survive after a zombie outbreak in their school.

It starred Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Lomon, Cho Yi-hyun, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo.

“All of Us Are Dead” was released on Jan. 28 and topped Netflix charts in many countries. To date, it is No. 4 on Netflix’s Top 10 Most Popular TV (Non-English) shows with 560.78 million hours viewed in the first 28 days on the OTT platform.

After its release, “All of Us Are Dead” placed in the top 10 on the most watched non-English TV shows in 91 countries and maintained its position for two straight weeks.

“All of Us Area Dead” garnered 361.02 million viewing hours in its first 10 days.

According to Netflix “All of Us Are Dead 2” will be directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su, and written by Chun Sung-il. It will be produced by SLL and KIMJONGHAK Production.
