MB Daily News Update: 'Support Marcos Jr.,' Duterte tells Filipino people
With about three weeks left in office, President Duterte has asked the Filipino people to rally behind his successor Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. even as he underscored the need for the next government to continue the battle against illegal drugs.
And the courtesy calls on the country’s next President continued with Marcos Jr. welcoming dignitaries from Italy and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). He also called on the Filipinos to prominently display the Philippine flag as part of the celebration of Philippine Independence Day.
Outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo stayed true to her mandate, and dispatched her team to distribute bottled drinking water and face masks in places in Sorsogon province which were badly affected by the eruption of Bulusan Volcano last Sunday, June 5, 2022.
And the question remains. Who was the driver of the car that ran over a security guard at a Mandaluyong City mall? The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued a show cause order for the registered owner of the car to appear before the agency.
