President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. submitted his Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday, June 7.
His camp submitted his SOCE before the Comelec Campaign Finance Office in Intramuros, Manila a day before the June 8 deadline.
Based on his SOCE, Marcos declared a total expenditures of P623,230,176.68 while the total contributions received amounted to P624,684,320.09.
Vice President Leni Robredo also submitted her SOCE on the same day.
Other presidential bets in the May 2022 polls who filed their SOCEs in previous days were Panfilo "Ping" Lacson and Jose Montemayor.
Then vice presidential bet Dok Willie Ong also filed his SOCE Tuesday.
As for senatorial bets, SOCE filers include Guillermo Eleazar, Antonio Trillanes, Jose Manuel Diokno, Jinggoy Estrada, Loren Legarda, Carlito Balita, Sherwin Gatchalian, Herbert Bautista, Rodolfo Javellana, and Chiz Escudero.
Republic Act No. 7166 states that all candidates and treasurers of the political party shall, within 30 days after Election Day, file their full, true, and itemized statement of all contributions and expenditures in connection with the election.
