The average accuracy rate of vote-counting machines (VCMs) on all audited positions from president down to mayor is at 99.95825 percent so far, according to the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec’s) Random Manual Audit (RMA) of votes in the May 2022 polls.
In its advisory, the running accuracy rate of VCMs on audited positions as of 4 p.m. of June 7 are the following:
President: 99.9774 percent
Vice President: 99:9744 percent
Senator: 99.9821 percent
Party List: 99.8664 percent
Member, House of Representatives: 99.9790 percent
Mayor: 99.9702 percent
The poll body noted that the running accuracy rate is based on 503 of 757 or 66.4465 percent of the total sample clustered precincts.
“The computation of the preliminary accuracy rate is based on the marks and votes casted per position, as encoded by the Philippine Statistics Authority or PSA.”
Meanwhile, the Comelec said the average accuracy rate is computed using the percentage rate per position as addends, then divided by six.
