Next Mister International Philippines winner owns his truth and promotes wellness, says national director Manuel F. Deldio

The 33 official candidates of Mister International Philippines 2022

Newly-introduced National Director for Mister International Philippines Atty. Manuel F. Deldio shared the qualities he is looking for in the next pageant winner. 

“Everyone has pretty faces. Everyone has that looks. But what I am looking for is someone who celebrates his own truth and  promotes wellness and sports. He is distinctively handsome with standout personality and character. We will crown that man soon, and he will advance MIPH’s advocacies,” said Manuel in an interview.

The national director added: “This year’s Mister International Philippines is bigger. And take note, we are the number one male pageant in the country. We got to prove that. We will bring you talented, distinctively handsome, and smart Filipino men.”

Last May 31, Deldio and his team introduced 33 handsome men to the members of the media at Okada Manila. Some early favorites were Mico Angelo Teng, John Tan Ting, and ex-PBB housemate Michael Ver Anton Comaling.

Deldio said, “We are so grateful to Okada, Frontrow, Dermaworld, and other sponsors for helping us. I am so proud to our team for putting that well-made presentation at Okada. All our candidates are fresh and ready to showcase what they need to showcase. They are so ready to represent their hometowns.”

At the grand launch, Deldio explained that the latest edition of Mister International-Philippines presents an exciting mix of fresh faces and pageant veterans, all bringing with them their unique stories, backgrounds, and advocacies.

“Advocacy is very important. You are who you stand for. What’s your story? Who are you? What’s your stand? These are the questions na hinahanap namin sa isang kandidato who will represent the Philippines sa international stage. He should love sports. He should promote wellness. What your body says, what your mind says, it comes out on the inside,” Deldio also said.
