Three alleged drug traders arrested in separate operations in Cagayan
CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, Tuguegarao City – Two alleged drug traders were arrested on Thursday night by operatives who also found marijuana plants near the house of one of the suspects in Brgy. Babuyan Claro Island, Calayan, Cagayan.
The suspects were identified as Erizald Rosales and Rodrigo Linsangan Jr.
The police raiders who acted on tips from a confidential informant launched the operation that resulted in the arrest of target suspects in Rosales and Linsangan Jr.
The raiders found 15 fully-grown uprooted marijuana plants near Rosales’ house. The plants weigh approximately three kilos and are valued at P360,000.
The suspects are now facing charges for violation of Art. II sec 16 and 11 of Republic Act 9165.
Earlier, a 35-year-old man was also arrested on illegal drugs in Maharlika Highway, Lingu, Solana, Cagayan.
The suspect was identified as Franky Corpuz, forklift operator, and a native of Baybayog, Alcala, Cagayan.
According to the Solana PNP report, Corpuz is also included in the list of Street Level Individuals.
