If they accept the invitation, it is possible that Vice President Leni Robredo and President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will meet at Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio’s inauguration on June 19.
Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco, Duterte-Carpio’s spokesperson, said that the two were invited along with past presidents and vice presidents.
This also means the Vice President-elect also invited his father, President Duterte, to her inauguration.
“President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Vice President Leni Robredo, all past Presidents, Vice Presidents, and President-elect Bongbong Marcos were invited to the Inauguration of Vice President-elect Sara Duterte,” she said.
Frasco also earlier confirmed that Duterte-Carpio would be inaugurated at the San Pedro Square at the intersection of San Pedro and Bolton Streets in Davao City.
She will take her oath as 15th Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines before Supreme Court justice Ramon Paul L. Hernando.

However, there is no confirmation yet if all three, especially Robredo, can attend the inauguration in Davao City.
Robredo had been butting heads with President Duterte since she started criticizing his administration’s bloody war on drugs.
She was also very critical of Marcos and the myriad of cases that cling to his name, including his father’s Martial Law regime.
Robredo, however, personally met with Duterte-Carpio’s transition team on Friday, June 3, as she promised to ensure a smooth transition process for the next vice president.
