The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory (LTFRB) has so far received more than 1,000 applications for the Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) since it opened the application on April 30.
In a statement, the LTFRB said there are still 6,869 slots open for application.
It then advised those whose applications were rejected to complete the necessary requirements and to use new email accounts in the online application process in order for their applications to be considered anew.

The acceptance of new application for TNVS was based on the LTFRB Board Resolution No. 065 s. 2022 wherein 7,000 TNVS slots were opened in Metro Manila; 200 in Central Luzon; 500 in Bicol Region and 150 in Western Visayas.
Currently, the LTFRB said there were 922 applicants from Metro Manila, 68 in Central Luzon and 11 in Bacolod City.
There are 26,301 TNVS units that are currently operating across the country. Of the figure, 25,495 are operating in Metro Manila.
The LTFBR reminded the operators anew about the fare system for TNVS: the flagdown rate for sedan-type is P40.00 and P15.00 fare per kilometer, and P2.00 per minute travel fare; for premium AUV/SUV, the flagdown rate ay P50.00 and P18.00 per kilometer fare, an d P2.00 per minute travel; while for the Hatchback o Sub-compact TNVS is P30.00 flagdown rate with na may P13 per kilometer fare rate and at P2.00 per minute travel fare.
