Karen Davila maintained Senator Imee Marcos has already apologized to her relating the off-the-cuff remark she made during a recent interview for ANC's "Headstart."
In the now viral interview, Imee is heard chiding Karen, "Akala ko magma-migrate ka pag nanalo ang Marcos.”
Karen cleared the issue in a recent Facebook post.
She wrote, "Let me set the record straight on this one. Sen Imee Marcos on #ANCHeadstart joked about me still being in the PH after her brother’s victory to which I replied…“ALWAYS HOPING FOR THE BEST FOR THE COUNTRY” Yan po ang sagot ko. Napikon po ba ako? Hindi po. Sen Imee Marcos also sent me an apology by text after the show. All good. Salamat!"
She also posted: "In victory, resist the temptation to gloat. Graciousness is a class act."
Karen then shared a clip of their conversation.
According to her, there was more to it than the "migration" issue, including the matter of supposed historical revisionism, the idea behind Uniteam, and the possibility of outgoing Vice president Leni Robredo working with Imee's brother, President-elect Bongbong Marcos.
