SPD director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg said the alleged drug den was being maintained by one of arrested suspects, Christopher Oroyan, 47, a contractor. The police also arrested Taguig residents Mark Mamonon, 46, landlord, and Ronaldo Marcelino, 55; and Pateros residents Domingo Mata, 49, construction worker, and Felyzarda Imson, 49.

Recovered from them were nine plastic sachets containing suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 42 grams with a value of P285,600, two .45-caliber guns, a .22-caliber gun, two magazines and 11 live ammunition.

The suspects, who are temporarily detained at the SPD custodial facility for proper disposition, will be charged with violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10592 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

“The latest accomplishment of District Drug Enforcement Unit and District Intelligence Division is truly commendable and deserve recognition,” said Macaraeg.
