BAGUIO CITY-- Six high-value drug personalities were surprised by a search warrant operation conducted by Baguio City police personnel and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera in separate areas in Baguio city on Saturday.

The operatives arrested Judith Cortez, 41, in her house in Purok 11, Upper Pinget, Baguio City where the search warrant was served.
Also arrested in Cortez’s house were Carla Sacyat Tandingan, 23, of La trinidad, Benguet; Manuel Orijas Doro, 46, of Green Water, Baguio City; Cristian Baras Sevillano, 32, of Quirino Hill, Baguio City; and Annalyn Alipar Bernardino, 40, of Quirino Hill, Baguio City.
The raiding authorities found ten pieces of heat sealed plastic sachets containing 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000 in the house of Cortez.
Assorted drug paraphernalia consisting of used aluminum foils, improvised tooter, plastic sachet, lighter, weighing scale, and four cellular phones were also recovered from the area.
The sixth suspect identified as Villanuevo Valenzuela, 36, was arrested in Barangay Loakan Proper, Baguio City in a separate operation.
Valenzuela was also surprised during the search warrant operation as the operatives found three plastic sachets of shabu weighing 1.5 grams and valued at P10,200.
The raiders also found nine empty bullet shells; live ammunition and hard object wrapped in brown masking tape suspected to be a hand grenade.
Col. Glenn Lonogan, city director of the Baguio City Police Office, said the six alleged drug dealers will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165.
