Police arrest drug pusher in Bacolod City, seize P204,000 worth of 'shabu'

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested an alleged drug pusher and seized about 30 grams of suspected shabu worth P204,000 during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Monday, May 30.

The suspect was identified as Justine Estaniel alias ‘Tarzan,’ 27, and resident of Barangay Singcang-Airport. The police considered the suspect a street level individual.

Maj. Joery Puerto, head of Police Station 8, said that Estaniel had been the subject of their surveillance for two weeks.

The authorities came to know the suspect’s alleged illegal activities from drug suspects previously arrested.

Estaniel, according to some drug suspects previously nabbed, was their source of illegal drugs.

Puerto said that Estaniel allegedly distributed the illegal drugs at the different puroks in the said village.

Charges of illegal drug pushing are being readied against Estaniel, who is detained at Police Station 8.
