Son Ye-jin's agency responds to rumors that she is pregnant after honeymoon in US

Korean actress Son Ye-jin’s agency responded to speculations that she is pregnant following her marriage to Hyun Bin in March and honeymoon last month.

The rumors started spreading after Son Ye-jin posted two photos on her Instagram account on May 29.

“How are you doing?! Have a delicious lunch and have a happy weekend,” Son Ye-jin wrote along with the photos.

In one photo, Son Ye-jin is sitting and a bump caused by her dress is seen on her stomach area. This sparked speculations that she is pregnant with netizens congratulating her.

“The second pic looks like there’s a good news coming soon,” one netizen commented on her post.

“Good Morning Mommy,” another netizen wrote.

Son Ye-jin, 40, and Hyun Bin, 39, who starred in the hit Korean drama “Crash Landing on You,” got married on March 31 at Aston House of the Grand Walkerhill Seoul hotel. The lavish wedding was attended by family and friends.

On April 11, the two flew to Los Angeles for their honeymoon. They spent 17 days in the US before returning to South Korea on April 28.

Due to the growing speculations about her pregnancy, MS Team Entertainment, the actress’ agency, issued a statement to deny it.

"The pregnancy rumors are not true at all," said the agency on May 30.

Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin publicly admitted they were in a relationship on Jan. 1, 2021. On Feb. 10 this year, they revealed that they were getting married.

“I thought long and hard about how to share this story because it’s an important one. I found someone to spend the rest of my life with. Yes... it’s him. Boy meets girl, recognizes each other in the crowd, promises to build a future together...I couldn’t imagine! It happened so naturally...But, isn’t that destiny?” Son Ye-jin said about her wedding to Hyun Bin.

She said, “Just being with him, I feel warm and protected. Please help us celebrate the beginning of our future. And to my dearest fans, I have received unconditional love and for a long time now, I thought, there’s no way to repay it. Please know that I’m infinitely grateful and I also wish you all happiness!”

Hyun Bin said, “I am writing this because I wanted to tell the fans, who cared about me and gave me great interest and love despite my lacking in many ways, first the most important decision of my life.”
