The camp of President-elect Bongbong Marcos has named more key entrants in his incoming Cabinet, rounding off his economic team in the process.

In a press briefing Monday afternoon, May 30, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles revealed Marcos's nomination for the positions of Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary; as well as Presidential Management Staff (PMS) chief.

Nominated for the posts were Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Assistant Governor Amenah Pangandaman; Liloan, Cebu Mayor Christina Frasco; lawyer Ivan John Uy; broadcaster Erwin Tulfo; and former Manila Rep. Naida Angping, respectively.

Angeles said the nominees have already accepted their respective Cabinet post offers.

Asked to describe the qualifications of the nominees in a general sense, lawyer-slash-blogger Angeles said they were chosen "for their experience in public service and proven service records".

Arguably the most popular among the new Cabinet members is Tulfo, brother of Senator-elect Raffy Tulfo.

Incoming DSWD Secretary Tulfo, in a statement after the briefing, thanked God for his nomination and Marcos for trusting in him.

"Alam ko na maraming trabaho ang naghihintay sa DSWD. Ang tanging maipapangako ko lamang ay sisikapin ko na matugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayang mahihirap at nangangailangan (I know there are a lot of work waiting at the DSWD. The only thing I can promise is, I will strive to address the needs of our people who are poor and needy)," he said.

Frasco, on the other hand, is a decorated local chief executive who serves as spokesperson of Vice President-elect Sara Duterte. Duterte was Marcos's running mate during the May 9 elections.

Last week, Marcos himself announced his handpicked chiefs for the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

He has also named his secretaries for the Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
