Sharlene San Pedro graduates college, receives model student award

Former child star Sharlene San Pedro is one proud degree holder now.

On her social media account, the 23-year-old star uploaded her graduation picture.

"sa wakaaaaaaas. Sharlene S. San Pedro. Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. #amaoed AMA University Online Education," she wrote as caption.

On Instagram, Sharlene shared a quote from "Gilmore Girls" that read: "What she tackles, she conquers."

On Twitter, Sharlene thanked those who congratulated her.

There, she re-shared a post along with the screenshot of her certificate during their virtual graduation last May 28.

The actress-singer-MTV VJ also received the "Model Student Award" for her "exemplary performance in both her academic studies and professional career."

"Her journey with OEd has served as an inspiration to many. She is proof that with hard work, dedication, and perseverance amidst the challenges life brings, dreams can come true," the text in the certificate read. "We are proud to be part of her story. Salamat sa pagtuloy ng iyong pangarap kasama ang OEd."

Sharlene started her career via the child talent search “Star Circle Quest” in 2004.

Meanwhile, Sharlene's colleagues in showbiz also extended their congratulatory messages.
