501 Day: Celebrating the iconic denim with the next generation of visionaries

In time for the 149th anniversary of its 501 jeans, Levi’s partnered with five visionaries “whose stories truly embody the spirit of the 501.” The stars pay homage to the iconic denim through a brand new campaign featuring the 501 Original, 501 ‘90s jeans and shorts, and vintage 501.

The visionaries include actor Barbie Ferreria from “Euphoria;” designer and artist A$AP Nast from the A$AP Mob; model Hailey Bieber; Berlin-based, Korean-born DJ Peggy Gou; and athlete and children’s activist Marcus Rashford.

“Throughout the campaign, we celebrate these five incredible talents who each possess true authenticity, and bring a unique perspective to everything they do,” the brand states in a release. “Featuring intimate conversations that touch moments that–like the 501 Original did for Levi’s–forever changed their own trajectory, as well as a range of arresting images that help bring to life their rich personal histories and show why change is so essential for stepping into your creative power and true self.”

In the region, Levi’s celebrated 501 Day with the Philippines’ Issa Pressman, Malaysia’s Sheena Lim, Singapore’s Yung Raja, Indonesia’s Diela Maharanie, and Thailand’s Pearypie. Levi’s Philippines recently held a launch party in BGC featuring the Tailor Shop with guests customizing their jeans, jackets, or shirts. The event also had an artist onsite to doodle on your photos while live music played throughout the night.
