P1-M worth of shabu seized, suspect arrested in Laguna buy-bust

SINILOAN, Laguna -- Anti-narcotics operatives seized some one million pesos worth of suspected shabu and arrested the alleged drug trader during a buy-bust operation on Friday evening in Barangay Macatad in this town.

In its report, the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO4A) identified the suspect as Ronald Allan Cruz Flores alias Ompong, a resident of Barangay Macatad, Siniloan.

Flores was arrested at around 6:26 p.m. by the Siniloan Municipal Police and the agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Undercover cop acted as the buyer who had transacted with the suspect. The police were able to buy a sachet of shabu from the suspect. The police then arrested the suspect who did not resist because of the presence of anti-narcotics operatives in the surrounding area.

Seized from the suspect’s possession were 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing an estimated weight of 150 grams of shabu with the street value of P1,012,500.
