Our favorite looks at Miss World Philippines 2022's National Costume competition

The 36 candidates donned the most beautiful Filipinianas during the pageant's Santacruzan
Miss World Philippines 2022’s National Costume Competition is a true celebration of Filipino craftsmanship and heritage. On May 26, Venice Grand Canal hosted the pageant’s Santacruzan, a traditional procession done in during Flores de Mayo in homage to Queen Helena a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. During the event, Filipinas donned the best garbs as they brought to life important biblical characters like Queen Esther, Veronica, Mary Magdalene, and other Marian figures. The same happened at the pageant’s Santacruzan, and the dresses were even grander. From reimagined ternos to show-stopping ensembles, below are some of our favorite looks at the beauty contest’s National Costume Competition.
