Child labor tackled in 'Oh My Job!'

They are not of age yet to be part of the workforce, but circumstances are pushing them to work for their families due to poverty.

This Saturday in “Oh My Job!” Karen Trayvilla, Director IV, Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns of the Department of Labor and Employment, will discuss the significant issue.

The story of Ritchen Mangubat, from Mandaue City, Cebu, one of the child labor assistance beneficiaries of the DOLE, will also be featured this week.

In “Oh May Good News” segment, in commemoration with Labor Day for workers in the informal sector, the Department of Labor and Employment – Isabela Field Office (DOLE-IFO) headed by Provincial Director Evelyn U. Yango, led the awarding of Nego-Kart Project to various marginalized workers in different municipalities of Isabela. The beneficiaries each received a vending cart including goods and raw products.

More job vacancies will be announced in “Oh May Jobs Dito” portion.

"Oh My Job,” hosted by Arnel Ignacio and Tuesday Niu, airs Saturdays, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. simultaneously on GTV and DZBB 594 Super Radyo, and live live-streamedstreamed through its Facebook page @OhMyJobPhilippines.
