Marcos on being called 'PBBM': 'That will work'

President-elect Marcos, in a Facebook live interview with handpicked news networks, said Thursday, May 26 that he is fine with being referred to as PBBM--short for President Bongbong Marcos.

"That will work," Marcos told reporters when "PBBM" was suggested to him as his possible official nickname.

Marcos commented that he was referred to as SBBM during his days as a senator between 2010 and 2016.

"Maybe that's the logical thing to do," the president-elect said, referring to PBBM.

Incumbent President Duterte, whose full name is Rodrigo Roa Duterte, is often called "PRRD".

His predecessor, the late President Benigno S. Aquino III, was referred to as "PNoy".
