The publication and dissemination of their literary works, epics, stories and historical accounts and the compilation of their films, audio-visual recordings of cultural performances are also mandated.

The laws also oblige the respective local governments, in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), to compile their local epigrams, proverbs, legends and etymology of words; and gather and document their religious practices and traditions.

Concerned offices must collect photographs of and showcase their landmarks, historical sites and scenic views; and gather specimens of their archaeological findings.
