Cops seize over P200M worth of shabu in Pampanga, NCR operations


Anti-narcotics operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) seized more than P200 million worth of shabu in three separate operations in Pampanga and in Metro Manila over the weekend.

On Satuday, operatives of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) conducted a buy-bust in Barangay Balibago in Angeles City which resulted in the confiscation of 10 kilograms of shabu from at least five suspected drug pushers. The suspects, however, eluded arrest.

Police said the confiscated shabu has a street value of P68 million. They also confiscated a vehicle that was abandoned by the suspects, assort4ed documents and various drug paraphernalia.

One of the suspects who fled was identified as Brenelyn Riños Urgel.

In Valenzuela City, police seized some 12 kilograms of shabu following the arrest of three suspected drug pushers along Maysan Road on Sunday morning, May 22.

The confiscated shabu has an estimated street value of P81 million.

In Caloocan City, police also confiscated some eight kilos of shabu worth P55 million in a buy-bust in Barangay 188 in Tala before dawn on Sunday.

They also arrested Tantawi Sali, a 35-year old suspected drug pushers, during the buy-bust.
