3 Sputnik Gang members allegedly involved in robbery incident nabbed in Pampanga


CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Three members of the Sputnik Gang allegedly involved in a robbery incident in Porac, this province, were arrested during a dragnet operation Saturday, May 21.

A report from acting Pampanga police director Police Col. Alvin Consolacion identified the suspects as Jerry Albao, 52, of Gabriel Compound, Catmon, Malabon City; Antonio Alejo, 63, of Road 5, Malabon City, and Jefferson David, 39, of Barangay Sepung Bulaon, Porac.

The suspects were cornered while onboard a getaway tricycle in an operation conducted by the Porac Municipal Police Station on Porac-Dinalupihan Road, Barangay Jalung.

Seized from the suspects were one Desert Eagle pistol gun replica, one kitchen knife, roof scissor, two pliers, two backpacks, and clothes used in gagging the roosters they have stolen.

Also recovered from the suspects were items taken from their victims, including a Louis Vuitton wallet containing five P1,000 bills, identification card, a Michael Kors wristwatch, Oppo Android phone, 10 live roosters, and four dead roosters.

Charges of robbery with intimidation and violating Republic Act (RA) No. 10591 and the Omnibus Election Code will be filed against the suspects who are now under the custody of the Porac Municipal Police Station.
