MB Daily News Update: Senate, House resume regular session

The Senate and House will resume their respective regular sessions on Monday, May 23, 2022, to set the stage for the convening of Congress as a National Board of Canvassers that will validate election returns in determining the next President and Vice President of the country.

This as the Commission on Elections (Comelec) disclosed that the preliminary result of the random manual tally of votes showed 99 percent accuracy.

Meanwhile, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Department of Health (DOH) are on alert against the possible entry of the monkeypox virus in the country.

And Pope Francis declared Archbishop Teofilo Camomot a “venerable”, putting the Cebuano prelate a step closer to sainthood.
