Daiana Menezes fulfills Jaymee Joaquin's wish

Jaymee Joaquin, former actress, host and model bravely battling cancer, took to social media recently to share with fans her recent meeting with Daiana Menezes.

Apparently, she has long wanted to meet Daiana, who is a cancer survivor.

Industry friends fulfilled the wish for her.

Daiana visited her at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Jaymee posted a photo of them together, sharing how it happened.

“’Is there a celebrity cancer survivor living in the Philippines that you’d like to meet?,’ a friend who works in TV and film production asked. ‘Daiana,’ I said and she asked why. ‘Because she only did lumpectomy and refused to do chemo, radiation and mastectomy. And she did all her alternative treatments and lifestyle changes in the Philippines too, not a first world country yet she stayed on remission.’"

“I sure am so grateful and glad she accepted my request, carved out precious time to see me and share her story, healthy goodies, tips and ideas that truly gave me a stronger boost of hope. As per her fee for taking part in the cancer documentary I’m producing? She only wanted me to get well as my form of payment."
