Truck driver killed in Isabela road rage shooting


CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – A man was shot to death by two unidentified suspects after an intense road rage dispute in Barangay San Fermin this city on Thursday (May 18).

Members of the Cauayan City Police immediately launched a manhunt operation against the suspects I who shot and killed Danilo Bramaje, 42, a truck driver.

Police Regional Office 2 said that there was a road rage between the victim and the suspect who were both heading for the south direction.

Upon reaching in front of Sea Oil, the driver-suspect of black motorcycle that has no license plate got off his motorcycle with his unidentified male back rider and immediately pulled out a gun and shot the victim who died instantly.

Two empty shells of .45 caliber were recovered at the crime scene.

“Bigla na lang nagkakagulo sa kalsada at doon nalaman namin na may nabaril pala matapos ang umanoy gitgitan at sagutan sa kalsada at lahat nagulat,” said a motorist who happened to witness the incident.

“Dapat kalmado lang, dami kasi mainit ang ulo, simula ng matapos itong election, may mga tao na hindi makamove on,” another motorist said.
