The biggest supporters of the Sibol MLBB team flew to Vietnam to bring the loudest cheers from the stands.
A couple of Filipino internet personalities went all the way to Hanoi to support the national athletes who are currently competing in the 31st Southeast Asian Games.
Among those who personally went to watch the action are influencers Junnie Boy, Boss Keng and Burong of Team Payaman.
Other Filipino gaming and esports personalities like influencer and model Bianca Yao, more known as Biancake in the community, and Blacklist International owner Tryke “TryQ” Gutierrez were also present in the venue.
The Sibol MLBB team was composed of the players from the Blacklist MLBB team led by M3 champions Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna, Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario and Salic “Hadji” Imam.
Blacklist is the esports arm of the Tier One Entertainment owned by Gutierrez and celebrity and influencer Alodia Gosiengfiao. Yao and Team Payaman led by figurehead Cong “CongTV” Velasquez are talents of Tier One.
The MLBB national team gave them an entertaining and thrilling match as it survived the gritty Singapore team with a 2-1 reverse sweep to advance to the gold medal round. Sibol will face powerhouse Indonesia in the finals on Friday, May 20 at 9 a.m.
