An estimated 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million were seized from three arrested drug peddlers in Bocaue, Bulacan on Wednesday, May 18.
Col. Charlie A. Cabradilla, acting provincial director of Bulacan Philippine National Police (PNP), identified the arrested drug suspects as Jayson Falcon, of San Antonio, Quezon City; Edwardo Elgarlino and Sarah Biscante, both from Balintawak, Quezon City.
Cabradilla said a sealed foil pack containing the suspected shabu was seized from the three suspects during the buy-bust operation conducted by the PNP-Drug Enforcement Group, Special Operating Unit, with the elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 3, and the Bocaue police.
Five more drug personalities were arrested in different anti-illegal drug operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Units of Angat, San Miguel, San Jose Del Monte City, and Sta. Maria.
The arrested suspects were identified as Crispino Parungao alias Pinong; Zainoding Bagul alias Aron; Hermie Inieco; Alec Flores Jr alias Delo; and Cedric Marcelo. Recovered from them were 17 sachets of suspected shabu, cellphone, coin purse, small box, and the buy-bust money.
The Bulacan police said there will be no let-up in its intensified operations against all forms of criminality in line with the instructions of the Chief PNP and PNP Region 3 Director Brig. Gen. Matthew P. Baccay.
