Jeric Gonzales, Therese Malvar win big at Indian film fest

Jeric Gonzales and Therese Malvar, stars of Pinoy indie "Broken Blooms" as directed by Louie Ignacio, made the country proud earning separate wins at the Mokkho International Film Festival (MIFF) in India.

Louie took to social media to share with fans the victory.

He wrote: "Congratulations Team Broken Blooms..."

Jeric and Therese won Best Actor In An Indie and Best Actress In an Indie plums respectively for their performance in the film, which was also recognized as Best Narrative Feature Film.

Louie also won the Special Jury Award for Best Director.

Apart from fans, several celebrities congratulated Louie for the success.

These include Jo Berry and Ai Ai delas Alas.

Note the film also bagged the Golden Remi Awards for Best Drama prior at the 2022 Houston Int'l Film Festival.
