Female passenger carrying 'anting-anting' bullet intercepted at NAIA

A female passenger carrying a bullet as anting-anting (amulet) was intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1, authorities said on Wednesday, May 18.

Ailene Andrada told the police that she does not know that carrying bullet is prohibited.

But she insisted that the bullet was for her protection, saying it was an amulet.

The policemen found the bullet inside Andrada's bag when she passed the X-Ray machine of the airport.

Andara was later released after the cops were apparently satisfied and convinced by her explanation.
