The official ticket selling for the “Begin Again: K-pop Edition” concert that will happen in Manila this month has started on May 18.
According to CDM Entertainment, “Begin Again: K-pop Edition” will be headlined by K-pop artists NCT Dream, SHINee’s Key, WEi and Alice (formerly Elris) and will be held at 5 p.m. on May 29 at Araneta Coliseum.
“Begin Again: K-pop Edition” will be the first international concert that will be held in the country since the pandemic started in 2020.
NCT Dream became the last K-pop artist to hold a show in Manila on Feb. 29, 2020 at New Frontier Theater and they will be the first to hold a K-pop concert in the country, along with the other artists, this year.
There will be four or more performances per K-pop artist at the concert, according to CDM Entertainment.
This will be the first time that Key will be performing in the country as a solo artist. SHINee’s last visit to the country was in 2017.
Alice is composed of EJ, Do-A, Chaejeong, Yeonjae, Yukyung, Sohee, and Karin. When they were Elris, they performed at the K-pop World Music Festival 2019 held in Manila in June 2019. “Begin Again: K-pop Edition” will give the chance to meet their Pinoy fans again.
WEi debuted in October 2020 and is composed of Yohan, Donghan, Yongha, Daehyeon, Seokhwa and Junseo. Donghan and Daehyeon became contestants in the survival audition show “Produce 101” season 2 while Yohan and Seokhwa joined the “Produce X 101” show. Yohan won first place and debuted in the group X1.
